The project is designed in two phases: first, the space itself, and then the objects within it. Given the space dimensions. The design aims to amplify the room using a repetitive grid with a single material across a continuous surface, allowing natural daylight and artificial lighting to create an optimal workspace for employees and a unique, memorable atmosphere for clients.
The intention is to create a timeless space independent of the objects within it. The function of the space is defined by the objects and their relationships, allowing for evolution and change over time.
Winner of “Orchids and Onions 2024” contest for best interior design project by the San Diego Architectural Foundation.
BORDERLESS PAVILION
SPATIAL INSTALLATION / CONSTRUCTION

This pavilion explores the San Diego–Tijuana region as a layered condition rather than a fixed boundary. Instead of a singular line, the border is understood as a shifting field of overlapping realities shaped by people, flora, and fauna moving across and between both cities. At times it dissolves, at others it becomes ambiguous—never fully clear, always dependent on where and how it is experienced.
The installation is composed of lightweight, translucent coroplast walls. These layered
surfaces filter light, cast shifting shadows, and partially obscure views, creating a spatial
condition where perception is constantly in flux. Visitors move through a subtle path within the pavilion, encountering moments of clarity and distortion depending on their position and
orientation.
By blurring interior and exterior, natural and artificial, the pavilion invites visitors to question
fixed notions of separation. It frames the border not as a line, but as an evolving, lived
environment—one defined by interaction, coexistence, and multiple perspectives.

Conceptual dinning experience. Set among stones, circular vines, and oak trees, the outdoor dinning experience was created in collaboration with meson, following the unique curves of the vineyard and using elements drawn from the surroundings.

The “Mesa Latosa” is located in Santo Tomas Square which is part of the historical, cultural and tourist center of the city of Ensenada B.C. It’s a response to a specific context. The bar “Loca” and “Latoso Juan” asked us to create a table that could be removable and would provide a solution to the lack of bar space for diners. Mounted on the bollards, the tables do not alter the space but rather blend with it and accentuate the experience.

The Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday to honor and remember deceased loved ones.
Our altar proposal respectfully honors the traditional, centuries-old ritual elements while combining them with contemporary materials. We use frosted glass, filled with traditional cempasúchil flowers from the inside, and incorporate illumination so that the shadows cast within evoke a connection with the spiritual world around us.

Continuing the exploration of the relationship between space and objects, this project aims to create a series of memorable features arranged in a way that defines and shapes the space, creating a reality that is dependent on the objects. The resulting architecture is one in which space emerges from the presence and placement of these objects-without them, the space would not exist. This object-driven approach generates a unique spatial logic.
Aligned with our design methodology, the project incorporates scale, line, texture, and color throughout the architecture. The ongoing exploration of metal and carpentry materials plays a key role, with every element specifically crafted for the beauty salon.
LISTENING PARTY

Deep Listening is a series of events organized by Virtual Music Station. Using a concept store as the venue we transformed the environment to enhance the listening experience, fabricating a 20-foot-long mirrored table where attendees could sit at floor level while watching and listening to the music curator. The feature is strategically placed so it reflects both the audience and the space creating an immersive experience.
